The face and body can be treated using Dermapen.

Using multiple needles to vertically penetrate the surface layers of the skin, Dermapen
treatment allows the body to begin the wound-healing process which breaks down older collagen to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin within the skin.

Dermapen is an effective treatment option for all skin types. Treatment is good for improving wrinkles and fine lines, improving acne scars, stretch marks and wound healing. It helps to minimise pore size, tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin. It is also clinically proven to treat alopecia.

A patch test for Dermapen is not required.

You will feel a slight tingle during treatment. Afterwards, your face might feel hot, just like sunburn.

Skin redness for a couple of hours following treatment, much like a sunburn, with some minor bleeding and bruising possible. Skin may also feel warm, tight and itchy for a short while. This should normally resolve in 12 – 48 hours.

We ask that you attend the clinic without make-up if treating the face. You will be required to stop using some skincare products such as Obagi skincare, retinol or tretinoin for approximately one week prior to treatment.
