Treatment is great for patients with the following concern areas; brown spots, sun damage, freckles, pigmented lesions, melasma, wrinkles and fine lines, acne scars, stretch marks.
A patch test is not required but a consultation prior to treatment is required to assess suitability and discuss your treatment plan. This can be carried out in clinic or via video call.
It is a very comfortable lunch time procedure. The average discomfort level reported by clients receiving treatment was 2 out of 10. PicoSure® delivers energy in ultra-short bursts, and patients often compare the laser pulse to a snap of a thin rubber band.
It is possible to experience some localised redness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising to the treatment site. Any bruising is usually minimal, redness and swelling usually resolving within a few hours after treatment.
All our advanced skin treatments are carried out by our practitioners with over 10 years experience in skin and laser procedures.
We ask that you attend the clinic without make-up if treating the face, and that skin is not tanned or inflamed prior to treatment. You may be advised to prepare the skin with skincare products to gain the optimum results from this treatment. This will be discussed with you during a consultation. You will be required to stop using some skincare products such as Obagi skincare, retinol or tretinoin for approximately one week prior to treatment.
