Hyperpigmentation is a common, usually harmless condition in which patches of skin become
darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of
melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin.
Obagi Nu Derm System
The Obagi Nu-Derm® System is formulated to help correct hyperpigmentation, such as dark
spots and melasma, and transform the appearance of aging skin. This system is a complete
skin care routine system and is prescription only meaning that a consultation is required to
assess suitability.

Prescription skincare
At Aesthetically You, we use a number of evidence based skincare ranges including Obagi,
Environ, ZO Skin Health and SkinCeuticals. Within each range we have access to a number of
prescription products to complement the treatments we offer at the clinic. Home use skincare is
used to treat aging skin, large pores, oily and congested skin, acne, dull and dehydrated skin
and inflamed and sensitive skin.
iPixel
As we age, the tone and texture of our skin changes. Fine lines and wrinkles begin to appear,
age spots and blemishes may develop, and the texture of our skin can become coarse and
uneven. Harmony’s Tone and Texture treatment uses light and laser-based skin resurfacing
technologies to smooth out and balance the skin-improving overall skin tone, elasticity and
texture and reducing superficial pigmentation and pore size, while helping to bolster the skin
against future aging.
Pixel Fractional CO2
Pixelated Co2 laser uses laser light of varying intensities, delivered into the skin in a pixel
pattern (like a chessboard). It heats up the water in the skin causing it to evaporate (ablate).
These tiny wounds will form a small scab, and will slough away naturally, resurfacing the
epidermis and improving the appearance of lines, wrinkles, skin texture, pigmentation and
scarring. Co2 laser also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to tighten the skin
