You will be asked to attend a consultation with one of our nurse prescribers, during which they will carry out a medical history check, assess the area(s) of concern and agree upon a treatment plan to suit your needs. Immediately before treatment, your practitioner will take you through the consent documents and take some pre-treatment photographs. The treatment area will be cleaned, and a numbing cream or injection will be administered if required. Once the area is numbed, the injections can take around 25 minutes. The nurse prescriber will massage the area after injection, and post-treatment photos will be taken so you can see your results. You will then be given aftercare advice, which will also be emailed to you.

Treatment is best suited for those looking to improve the skin quality, hydrate the skin, treat dark under-eye circles, treat fine lines around the eyes and lips, rejuvenate scars or improve overall texture to give skin a healthy glow. Treatment is subject to consultation. At the consultation, an examination is carried out to assess suitability. Your practitioner will discuss realistic expectations with you before treatment.

Most patients require one – to three treatments. This will be discussed at your consultation.

A patch test is not required for this treatment.

Treatment uses a fine needle for comfort. This treatment is well tolerated.

Localised redness, tenderness, and swelling in the area are possible. This usually resolves within a few days. Bruising is also a potential side effect, though this is generally minimal and will take up to 7 days to resolve.

Treatment will be carried out by one of our specialist injectors.

Avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen for at least 24 hours prior to treatment (unless instructed by your GP). Please avoid consuming alcohol for 24 hours prior and please attend without makeup.
