At your consultation, your treatment goals and expectations will be discussed, the area(s) for treatment will be assessed for suitability and a treatment plan to suit your needs will be completed by one of our practitioners. You will be asked to fill in a medical history form before signing consent documents and pre-treatment photographs will be taken. On the day of treatment, you will be asked to attend 30-45 minutes early for numbing cream to be applied. Once numb, the cream will be removed, and the area will then be cleaned prior to treatment commencement. Patients generally feel some heat and prickling during treatment, but this is generally tolerated well. The treatment can take 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated. Once complete, suitable skincare is applied, and aftercare advice will be given.

Morpheus8 Prime is effective in the treatment of lines and wrinkles, skin laxity and texture. The treatment is suitable for any skin type and results can begin to be seen in as little as 10 days following treatment depending on the condition treated. Results will continue to develop for up to 3 months after treatment.

A patch test is not required for Morpheus8 Prime.

After numbing cream is applied to the skin, patients tolerate treatment well, experiencing mild to moderate heat or stinging.

Morpheus8 Prime treatment tends to have very minimal down-time. The skin is pink, may feel tight and may be slightly puffy for a day or so following treatment. In some cases, patients may experience some mild bruising or burning of the skin, usually in more delicate and bony areas. It is safe for any skin type.

We ask that you attend the clinic without make-up if treating the face, and that skin is not tanned or inflamed prior to treatment. You may be advised to prepare the skin with skincare products to gain the optimum results from this treatment. This will be discussed with you during a consultation. You will be required to stop using some skincare products such as Obagi skincare, retinol or tretinoin for approximately one week prior to treatment.
