CONCERNS / FACE /

Nasal
Hump

A hump on the nose is often genetic, but can also be formed as a result of trauma to the nose. Humps in the upper region of the nose are more likely to be made of bone, whilst lower down, it more likely consists of cartilage. This can be treated surgically (rhinoplasty) or non-surgically using dermal filler. We can also use dermal filler to correct the appearance of a drooping tip, asymmetrical or wide-looking noses.

Non Surgical Rhinoplasty

This treatment refers to the use of dermal fillers which are injected accordingly to correct ‘bumps’, creating a straighter appearance, or to correct a drooping tip or asymmetrical nose. Non surgical rhinoplasty can create a more balanced, proportioned look to the face as a whole. There is often a common misconception that by adding dermal filler to the nose it will look bigger. When dermal filler is strategically placed in the nose it can give the appearance of a smaller, more balanced nose.
