The face and body can be treated using Dermaroller™

A local anaesthetic is used to numb the skin, making the procedure more comfortable and then the roller produces thousands of microscopic needle columns in the skin. Each column penetrates the dermis of the skin and then closes rapidly, enabling the skin to recover very quickly

Genuine Dermaroller™ is great for treating acne scarring, uneven pigmentation, stretch marks, facial lines and fine wrinkles, and sun damage. If you suffer with any of these concern areas then Dermaroller™ would be a good treatment choice.

A patch test for Dermaroller™ is not required.

You will feel a slight tingle during treatment. Afterwards, your face might feel hot, just like sunburn.

Skin redness for a couple of hours following treatment, much like a sunburn, with some minor bleeding and bruising possible. Skin may also feel warm, tight and itchy for a short while. This should normally resolve in 12 – 48 hours.

We ask that you attend the clinic without make-up if treating the face. You will be required to stop using some skincare products such as Obagi skincare, retinol or tretinoin for approximately one week prior to treatment.
