BOOKING

Booking an
appointment

All new patients are required to book a consultation before booking any treatments. This allows our expert practitioners to fully assess your individual concern areas and define a personalized treatment plan to suit your needs. This process ensures that you get the most from your treatments with us.

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

We take a £50 deposit for all appointments including consultations – larger appointments of 45 minutes and over require a £100 deposit. This deposit is fully redeemable toward the cost of treatment / products or can be refunded, provided that you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours’ notice. If you do not proceed with treatment or cancel with 48 hours notice, your deposit will go towards the clinicians time.

CONSULTAION

Your first
appointment

At present, we offer both in clinic face to face consultations and video call consultations from the comfort of your home. Upon booking a consultation, you will receive a medical history questionnaire via email and a COVID safety form for any patients attending in clinic consultations. Please fill the form with as much information about yourself as possible and return prior to consultation. This will help us gain a better understanding of your concerns and current health, allowing us to recommend the most suitable and effective treatments.

YOUR CONSULTATION

We believe that educating our patients on their individual concern areas allows them to make an informed decision on their treatment journey. During our consultation precess, our experienced team will assess and provide you with extensive knowledge on each of the treatment options available. The aim is to offer clear advice on what we can offer, what realistic results can be achieved, aftercare and maintenance and the costs of treatment. It is clinic policy to discourage treatments to be done at your first consultation. We feel that it is important that you have time to understand and process the information that we provide you with so that you can make an informed decision in your own time.

CONSENT PROCESS

Fungal nail treatment, Plexr mole removal and Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) all require GP consent prior to treatment. You will need to visit your GP so that they can assess your concern and consent that treatment is safe to be carried out at our clinic. Consent can be recorded in the form of a direct email from your GP to info@aestheticallyyou.co.uk or in written form on signed letterheaded paper

Patch
testing

PicoSure tattoo removal, Soprano Titanium hair removal and thread vein removal require a patch test 24 hours prior to treatment. Patch tests are relatively straight forward, our technician will administer a few pulses of laser at different settings. This helps us to identify an effective treatment level and ensures that the settings we use will not cause any adverse skin reactions. For dermal filler correction (hyaluronidase injection) a the patch test is carried out 20 minutes prior to treatment. For all other treatments a patch test is not required.

PHOTOGRAPHY

It is clinic policy that all of our patients are photographed pre and post treatment. The photographs that we take along your treatment journey are used as a way of assessing the effectiveness of treatment. A copy of your photographs can be requested by contacting the clinic. In some cases, patients consent to use of photographs / video content for use on our social media, our website or as part of clinic marketing materials.

AFTERCARE

Leaving
the clinic

After your treatment, we will send you useful information via email. Please ensure that you read this information. Our expert team are also on hand to answer any aftercare questions you may have during your visit. Alternatively you can contact the clinic via phone, email or Instagram if you still have any questions.
